Rebecca Hirsch
violin

The biography of violinist Rebecca Hirsch reveals a stellar career, including regular appearances as a soloist in Britain and throughout Europe with orchestras including the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, the London Sinfonietta, the Philharmonia, the Ulster Orchestra, and the BBC Concert, Philharmonic and Scottish Orchestras among many others. She recorded regularly for Da Capo and Naxos, and two of her recordings were nominated for the Gramophone’s Best Record of the Year Award. In 2006 she changed career course and trained as a doctor, and she now practises as a GP in the Midlands. She still manages to combine this with a concert career as a violinist and in June 2018 she played Brahms horn Trio with the Fibonaccis in Brijuni, Croatia.
